ACCESS starts fund drive

ACCESS Assault Care Center will launch its 45th anniversary campaign – ACCESSing Our History – on Feb. 1.

ACCESS is celebrating 45 years of service in February. The ACCESSing Our History campaign aims to celebrate how much the agency has grown, highlight all those who helped it get to where it is now, and gain funds and support for the future.

The first part of ACCESSing Our History is a social media campaign that will take place on the ACCESS Facebook page, @AssaultCareCenter. The social media campaign will commence on Feb. 1 and last 45 days to symbolize 45 years of service. Over the 45 days (Feb. 1- March 17), ACCESS will share stories from past and current staff, board members and volunteers and will share the stage with survivors of sexual and domestic assault to give them the chance to tell their stories.

The second part of ACCESSing Our History is a series of more in depth meetings with groups and individuals who want to invest further into ACCESS and those they serve.

ACCESS hopes to raise $25,000 by the end of 2021 to help continue to grow and better serving survivors for the next 45 years.

Persons who want more information about the 45th anniversary ACCESSing Our History campaign can email Courtney Palmersheim, development coordinator, at courtney@asssaultcarecenter.org.
